I was digging around the other day and I found The Lexicanum again.
If you want to read about pretty much anything in the Fantasy or 40k world, chekc it out. Even fluff that we'd pretfer people not to talk about *coughilluminaticough* is in it!
Ok, so I don't find fantasy fluff particularly original or exciting, but there's lots of cool things in the 40k half.

I'm just remembering John who used to come to the club. He loved the sensei and illuminati fluff- all of his armies seemed to be based on it, including his chaos and eldar forces...Â
Also, all of his armies had the same colour scheme- red green and white... hmmm.

I laugh at those things now, but when they phase out the <insert race here> that currently exists, I'll probably be arguing with the people who in 10 years time are telling me that the "<said race> were so crap, I can't beleive they used to be in the game".
I guess in the same way, I really like/liked the chaos dwarves. I'm not qutie sure it they are gonna stay or go (the hellcannon crew are a bit of a ghost from the past here), but I know one thing for sure: the upside down ice-cream cone hats (like those sundaes that looked like clowns that you could buy at the Great Australian Ice-Creamery before they closed down) are gone for ever and I'll never get them back...Â
 Sure, I could do a conversion army with marauders and dwarf clansmen, but it's not the same as cone hats... I'd really want to order all the models from the UK, which would be horrendously expensive. Maybe when I'm working full time eh? Yeah, right!
I know chaos dwarves are not out of the fluff yet- this is the first time I've seen them mentioned in an orc & goblin book in the background for black orcs- but we've not seen any evidence for them as an arm for a while. Three guys with a daemon-gun are not enough.

You do know that Ben has an army of them sitting around somewhere, don't you? It's all been painted by his brother in time long past (very simple paintjobs, but serviceable). Maybe we can dig them out for a game sometime.
You see Chaos Dwarfs fly past on EBay all the time (particularly in the UK), but they go for a reasonable amount of money. One of those standard cases of people not realising what they've got until it's gone (or at least hard to get)...

That'd be cool- I'd love to whip them out for a game. I'll tyr putting a list together- maybe even bring THEM to axemaster if I get some time to practice. Now that'd be a laugh!
I saw a lamassu on ebay a month or so ago. Not as cool as a great taurus, but I had a shot. It was at about two pounds with a day to go. It got up to 20 pounds, too rich for my blood. But a great taurus I'd go at.Â

tell ben to bring them in at some stage, once im done my two liz conversions and some tau ill be looking for somthing to paint and wouldent mind stripping the Chaos dwarvs a unit at a time and trying to paint them up all pritty like. plastics might be a tad harder to do. mmmm food for thaught.

So lets *imagine* that ben would lend me the amry. Say I did the unthinkable and brought them to axemaster, without having tested a list or anything.
1. Would you allow me to bring a Ravening Hordes List?
2. If I used slave greenskins, do I use the O&G rules from RH or from the up-to-date book? Like, animosity, waagh? (I was not so sure that a unit of slave orcs or goblins would be that inclined to waaagh).
